Phoenix had been tied to a fence by kids while the grass around her was lit on fire. Fortunately she was saved in time but rescuers didn’t know if she would be able to make the trip to Saving Grace in order to get the care and attention she needed. She even had to stop for vet care along the way.
Burns were covering over 75% of her body. It was a long, painful road for Phoenix but she had amazing fosters who supported her and loved her throughout her recovery. Her fosters ended up adopting her and she is in the most loving home. Her foster dad is even the Chief of police, how perfect is that?!
